Crocheted Rose

Level: Easy

Ch = chain

Sc = single crochet

Dc = double crochet

Sp = space

Sps = spaces

Ch-2 sp = space created by 2 chains

Begin with ch 57.

Row 1 (Wrong side): (Dc, ch 2 , dc) in sixth ch from hook, * ch 2, skip next 2 chs, (dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch; repeat from * across: 36 sps.

Row 2: Ch 3, turn; 5 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp, (6 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp) 5 times, (9 dc in next ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-s sp) 5 times, (12 dc innext ch-2 sp, sc in next ch-2 sp) 7 times; finish off leaving a 10” length for sewing.

Thread tapestry needle with remaining 10” thread end. With right side facing and beginning with the first petal made, fold the rose and securely sew together on the wrong side.

  • Cool this one looks easy, with this design and kids would be really happy and for sure they are going to like it and no doubt about that. I also bought a cute hair clip from https://hairclippy.com/baby-hair-clips and it has a small flower just like this one.
